At Rastah, a boutique clothing brand rooted in cultural identity, I supported retail operations during a busy season. I managed inventory tracking, assisted customers with styling and fit, and streamlined point-of-sale transactions and returns. This role showed me how creative brands operate beyond visuals—where thoughtful interaction, store organization, and even packaging reinforce brand identity in ways design mockups can't capture.

For Hoot Magazine, Barnard's student-run fashion publication, I contributed to "Holey," a feature exploring yearning and connection. I assisted during the photoshoot with styling and setup, then worked on layout and editing for the final spread—refining photo placement, typography, and pacing to capture the story's emotional tone. This experience taught me how editorial design shapes storytelling through composition and sequencing.
